Kamagra is a highly effective medication designed to treat patients with erectile dysfunction (ED). ED is a condition in which a patient is unable to achieve a full or lasting erection associated with sexual intercourse. This condition is associated with a lack of blood flow to tissues of the penis and/or insufficient blood flow within and thereby leads to loss of erectile function.
Kamagra is an analog of the world-famous drug Viagra. As such, the main active ingredient in Kamagra is Sildenafil. This is a substance belonging to the group of selective phosphodiesterase inhibitors. Sildenafil works by improving blood flow toward and within the penis. With sexual stimulation, filling the penis with blood leads to an erection.
Kamagra tablets are manufactured by Ajanta Pharma in dosages of both 50 and 100 mg.
|Kamagra||50 mg||100 mg|
Kamagra should be taken orally. Sexual stimulation is required for effective drug action.
The recommended dose of this drug is 50 mg. Kamagra should be taken approximately 1 hour prior to sexual intercourse. Depending on efficacy and tolerability, Kamagra dosages may be increased to 100 mg or reduced to 25 mg. The maximum recommended dose for single time use is 100 mg.
Kamagra should only be used once per day irrespective of dosage strength. If Kamagra is taken with meals, the effect of this drug may be delayed compared with taking this drug on an empty stomach.
How fast does Kamagra work
Sildenafil is rapidly absorbed. Maximum blood concentration of sildenafil is achieved within 30 minutes after oral administration.
How long does Kamagra work
The half-life of sildenafil is approximately 4 hours.
Kamagra is contraindicated for use in individuals under the age of 18 years. There is no need to adjust dosages for elderly individuals (≥ 65 years).
Sildenafil (50 mg) did not potentiate the antihypertensive effect of alcohol on healthy volunteers with maximum levels of ethanol 80 mg/dL.
If Kamagra is taken with meals, the speed of absorption decreases with an average length of time to effect equal to 60 minutes.
Kamagra is recommended for men with ED, which is defined as the inability to achieve or maintain an erection. For effective drug action, sexual activity is required.
Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or any other component of the drug.
Simultaneous administration of nitric oxide or nitrates in any form is contraindicated because this may lead to unsafe hypotension.
Kamagra should not be taken in individuals demonstrating health conditions in which sexual activity is not recommended (e.g., severe heart failure).
Eye loss due to non-arterial foreskin ischemic optic neuropathy.
Kamagra should not be taken when there is the presence of diseases such as severe liver damage, arterial hypotension, recent stroke or myocardial infarction, and/or known hereditary degenerative retinal diseases.
Kamagra is not intended for use by women.
The most commonly reported adverse reactions associated with taking Kamagra include headache, blood flushing, dyspepsia, nasal congestion, back pain, dizziness, nausea, flushing, and/or visual impairment.
Does not require prescription.
Ability to influence the speed of reaction
Studies of Kamagra and potential effects on the ability to drive a car or other machinery have not been conducted.
Nevertheless, since it has been reported that after taking Kamagra patients may experience dizziness and vision impairment, users must determine tolerance levels and side effects to this drug prior to driving a vehicle or operating machinery.
Concomitant use with other medicines for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
Safety and efficacy of concomitant use of Kamagra alongside other PDE5 inhibitors or other pulmonary arterial hypertension medications containing sildenafil or other drugs for the treatment of ED have not been studied. Therefore, use of such drug combinations is not recommended at this time.
At a single dose of sildenafil up to 800 mg, side effects have been reported as being similar to those observed with lower doses of sildenafil in the absence of increases in frequency and/or severity. The use of 200 mg sildenafil has not been reported to result in increased efficacy while decreasing the incidence of side effects (headache, tidal, dizziness, dyspepsia, nasal congestion, visual impairment).
In rare cases of overdose, normal supportive medical emergency measures should be taken.
Before the treatment of ED with Kamagra, it is necessary to review the full medical history of patients while also conducting a physical examination for the diagnosis of ED to determine possible causes.
